QUESTIONS
Where to stay,
answered.
Which area of Manali is best to stay in?
It depends on the trip. Mall Road suits shopping and eating out, Old Manali suits cafes and nightlife, and both are busy. Prini on the left bank suits quiet nights, valley views and parking, with town a short drive away. HOGS Panorama is on Shuru Road in Prini.
How far is HOGS from the main sights?
Mall Road, Old Manali, Hadimba Temple, Vashisht and the bus stand are each a short drive from Prini, while Solang Valley and Sethan lie further up. We only publish distances we have measured on the map, so message us on WhatsApp for the best route and timing on your day.
What is the left bank in Manali?
It is the eastern side of the Beas, along the road that runs from Manali towards Naggar through Aleo, Prini, Jagatsukh and Haripur. It is generally quieter than the right-bank highway side. Our page on the left bank explains the difference in plain words.
